I know that feel. In high school all the car people I knew where all bro bros, with their wet dreams of stancing their civics and golfs.

I kinda wanted to be friends with them because I don't have any friends who like cars, but it just ended up being why a civic could beat any american muscle car etc. etc. It got too cringey.

I was actually known as "The Car Guy" in school, but when the graduation awards came, most likely to own a Garage and Most Likely to own a Bugatti was given to those br0s. I got rekt.

Not necessarily. C6 Corvettes (not the ZR1) were fastest in 5th, not 6th. They didn't have enough power to use overdrive at top speed, they needed to keep the revs up. I'm guessing this is actually common, but I'm not saying that because the Corvette is the only one I know about.

It runs better on alcohol bro, that's what dragsters use :)

I have one friend who didn't know anything about cars, but I ended teaching him all about cars, now hes a car guy. But he doesn't own a car.

I have another friend with a car, but I like never see him. I haven't seen in person since last year.

I know that feel too man, the "car guys" all wanted riced civics with "NOS yo" when I was in high school.

I was driving this, which I fully rebuilt the whole truck myself, but they were the "car guys". (Did complete engine rebuild, installed the rebuilt thank god by the transmission shop trans, and even hand bent new fuel lines).

Not a single one of those civics could keep up by the way, they spent all their money on body kits and paint instead of NOS bottles.

I just got out of highschool last year, and they all started some car crew. I see them cruising around town in their stock golfs and civics with huge fart cannons. I wouldn't care so much if they weren't assholes to my friends. I can stand half of them, but the leaders of the "crew" and the older people in the crew are complete douchebags, they think they are the top of the top on the human ladder, but they just come off as douchebags in economy cars that make really loud fart noises. One of them blew the transmission on their TSX and then crashed it the day after it got repaired. The other I saw recently being, no joke, cut off and chased after by a guy in a Ford F-150, I'm assuming he started it and the F-150 guy has road rage. They just bother me, I could rant all day lol.

Awesome Blazer, it looks amazing. I love the colour . I wish I could upstage them, but all I had/have is this hybrid camry lol.

I know those feels. Had a guy tell me that he had a supercharged Crown Vic that his parents took away from him since he got a speeding ticket.

It's been 4 years.

He also tried to argue with me that a Buell is faster than a BMW S1000RR. Because it's American. That is literally his reasoning. That no foreign bike can be faster than an American bike.

Thanks man, I wish I still had it. One of the biggest regrets of my life selling it. We did some pretty decent performance upgrades to it, and I could pretty much rip the tires whenever I felt like in it. And that was with the 4.3L V6 (which was bored 60 over and had ported heads with upgraded valves and rockers lol). After the build was over my dad said "I almost said screw the V6 and got us a 350 to build for it". I could have killed him, he could have went his whole life and not told me that was an option. I cracked 100 in it once, which was stupid, but I was young.

Now a days I DD a boring 07 Mercury Milan V6.

But I have this to deal with the wannabe ricer guys (and mine's much louder):

Try to remember it's a short period of time in your life. I know it's a hard concept. But those annoying guys that I used to roast in the Blazer I haven't seen in over 10 years. I went out of state for college and never moved back.

The Milan is a sweet deal these days too. All the high level options of a fusion at the mid-level fusion price. Sincerely good car, I'm up to 93k miles on it, bought it at 45k.

And don't worry I'm jealous of your old Mercury Pickups. Those were never sold here (and god do I want one)
